Transaction Processing involves beyond mere data capture, data analysis, parameter checking and in many cases intense calculations and in certain cases subjective valuations. Shell has a team of professionals drawn from different domains with extensive experience in their chosen fields-Aviation, Banking and Finance, Insurance and Telecom to quote a few.

The transaction documents and annexure are scanned and the digital images are sent by clients. The images are downloaded and authorized for transaction process at Shell by designated officers. The checklists are run to verify the adequacy of the documents. Any incomplete doc is escalated as exception and handled as per procedure.

Now the data is entered into the customised Transaction process software designed as per customer's requirements. The transaction process as per the predetermined process is carried out and the exceptions thrown by the system are dealt with as per the procedure laid down. Authorisation of the transactions done after validations. The maker-Checker concept is used to ensure absolute control over the process.

After the above post transaction process is initiated which sometimes involve chasing for certain Post disbursement docs. Through Customer support service call centres the query resolution and post disbursement documents follow up are handled.
